Colegio Santo Angel and its english team have the pleasure of inviting you to our " Third Inter School Spelling Bee" In which the best schools from Cucuta will meet. This is an opportunity to share and strengthen the bonds that join us in the educational process of our students.

Our spelling Bee is a methodological activity that seeks to:

• Develop memory skills.
• Improve listening skills and pronunciation.
• Mastering a method of study.
• Improve the phonetic, syntactic and knowledge of English spelling.
• Help students improve their spelling.
• Help students increase their vocabulary.

This year our spelling bee will be divided in two:

INTERNAL SANTO ANGEL SPELLING BEE CONTEST

Students from third to eleventh grade will have the opportunity to participate in three different categories:

Category 1 students from Third to fifth grade

Category 2 Students from sixth to Eighth grade

Category 3 students from ninth to eleventh grade.

From each category 1 student will be selected to represent our school in the inter school spelling bee contest.

III INTER SCHOOL SPELLING BEE

Students from schools in Cucuta will have the opportunity to:

1. Strengthen the bonds of friendship between Schools
2. Exchange experience among students from different Schools.
3. Motivate the study of English as a universal language.
4. Encourage students to develop their communication skills.

On Tuesday May 28th Santo Angel High school students faced the challenge of the internal spelling bee contest to select our representatives for each category. The winners were:

Category 2: 6th 7th and 8th grade the winner was Samir Yesid Perez.

Category 3: 9th, 10th and 11th grade the winner was Laura Valentina Rolon.
